• The World Health Organization said Sunday that Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City “is not functioning as a hospital anymore”.

• The hospital’s last generator ran out of fuel Saturday, leading to the deaths of three premature babies and four other patients, according to the Health Ministry. It said another 36 babies are at risk of dying.

• Three UN agencies expressed horror at the situation in the hospitals, saying they had in 36 days registered at least 137 attacks on healthcare facilities, resulting in 521 deaths and 686 injuries – including 16 dead and 38 wounded medics.
