2023 Kia Soul Adds Tech But Drops Turbo
The exact equipment offered with the 2023 Kia Soul will depend on which variant you’re looking at, though some features — namely safety tech that used to be optional — are offered as standard across the entire new lineup. This includes warnings for lane departure and driver attention, as well as lane assistance features, high beam assist, and an alert when someone is in a rear seat.
Additional features join these depending on the variant. If you’re looking for top features from your next Soul, the 2023 GT’s tech package includes a bunch of additional equipment, including everything from a high-gloss interior trim to convenient features like a power driver seat and some safety tech like highway driving assistance. At the foundation of all four variants is a 2-liter inline four-cylinder engine boasting 6,200 rpm and 147 horsepower. According to Kia, all four variants will feature its Intelligent Variable Transmission, though the company isn’t yet ready to say how much the refreshed line will cost. The 2023 Kia Soul will go up for sale in the U.S. this summer.
