Acer Predator Orion 3000, Acer Nitro 50 Gaming Desktop PCs Refreshed

Acer Predator Orion 3000 and Acer Nitro 50 gaming desktop PC lineups have been refreshed with the latest generation of Intel and AMD processors. The gaming desktops will be powered by 11th-generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000-series desktop processors. To handle graphics, these new desktops will also come equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs. Furthermore, Acer has also launched three monitors — Acer Predator CG437K S 42.5-inch UHD gaming monitor, Acer Predator X38 S 37.5-inch monitor for e-sports, and Acer Predator X28 28-inch TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitor.

Acer Predator Orion 3000, Acer Nitro 50 price, availability

As per Acer, the Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) will be available in North America in July starting at $1,199 (roughly Rs. 86,800) and in EMEA in October starting at EUR 949 (roughly Rs. 36,700).

Acer Nitro 50 (N50-620) will be available in North America in July starting at $949 (roughly Rs. 68,700), in EMEA in October starting at EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 70,400), and in China in June starting at CNY 5,599 (roughly Rs. 63,600).

Acer Predator gaming monitors price, availability

Acer Predator CG437K S will be available in North America in November starting at $1,799.99 (roughly Rs. 1,30,000), in EMEA in November starting at EUR 1,599 (roughly Rs. 1,41,000), and in China in October starting at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1,13,000).

Acer Predator X38 S will be available in North America in September starting at $1,999.99 (roughly Rs. 1,44,000), in EMEA in September starting at EUR 2,199 (roughly Rs. 1,94,000), and in China in August starting at CNY 14,999 (roughly Rs. 1,70,000).

Acer Predator X28 will be available in North America in August starting at $1,299.99 (roughly Rs. 94,000), in EMEA in August starting at EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,05,000), and in China in July starting at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 91,000), the company announced.

Acer Predator Orion 3000, Acer Nitro 50 specifications

Acer Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) mid-tower rig comes equipped with an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU that is powered by the Nvidia Ampere architecture — Nvidia’s 2nd-Gen RTX architecture. It packs up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and offers up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD (2x1TB) and up to 6TB HDD (2x3TB) hybrid storage. There is Intel Killer E2600 for high-end speeds and Wi-Fi 6 with MU-MIMO functionality. Other connectivity options include USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (both USB Type-A and USB Type-C). For audio, the gaming rig comes with DTS:X Ultra technology.

Acer Nitro 50 has two offerings — N50-120 with AMD processor and N50-620 with an Intel processor. Acer Nitro 50 may be powered by either up to AMD Ryzen 9 590-series processor or the Intel Core i7 11th-generation processor. Both processors are paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU. Both Nitro 50 models come with up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM (dual channel, 3200MHz ), dual 3.5-inch SATA3 HDD slots (2x3TB), M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSD slots, 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi 6, Dragon LAN 1G Ethernet, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports.

Furthermore, the Nitro series desktops can be ordered with an inbuilt wireless charging pad that works with all mobile devices that support the Qi standard. As per the company, the charger can juice up smartphones faster than 5W wireless chargers. Other features in the gaming desktop include DTS:X Immersive Audio, Windows 10 Home, FrostBlade Cooling, and Wi-Fi 6 functionality.

Acer Predator CG437K S is a massive 42.5-inch Nvidia G-Sync compatible Ultra-HD (3,840×2,160 pixels) gaming monitor. It comes equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports that allow for 4K 144Hz with VRR using only a single cable. Other connectivity ports include a USB Type-B port, a pair of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, and a USB Type-C (PD30W) port. Additionally, there’s an inbuilt KVM switch.

As per the company, the Predator CG437K S monitor has VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and it offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The monitor has 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms VRB response time, Acer says. It also comes with RGB lighting strips that can be synced to music and media. There is Acer ColorSense feature that adjusts the screen’s temperature to match the ambience, Acer LightSense detects ambient lighting and adjusts the monitor’s brightness settings accordingly, and Acer ProxiSense automatically wakes the monitor when users are nearby or dims it when they aren’t.

Acer Predator X38 S is a 37.5-inch UWQHD+ (3,840×1,600 pixels) monitor that has 2300R curvature, a DCI-P3 98 percent wide colour gamut coverage, Delta E<2 rating and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. It features 175Hz refresh rate (overclocked) and a response time of 0.3ms, as per the company. The features of the monitor include Predator Game Mode that has eight customisable preset display modes to suit different genres of content. It also comes with Acer LightSense and Acer ColorSense technologies.

Additionally, Acer Predator X38 S also includes Nvidia Reflex Latency Analyzer, a system latency measurement tool, Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate to eliminate screen tearing, and minimise display stutter for smooth gameplay.

Acer Predator X28 is a 28-inch Ultra-HD (3,840×2,160 pixels) monitor 155Hz refresh rate (overclocked), a 1ms G-to-G response time, and VESA DisplayHDR400-certified Agile-Splendor IPS display. It offers smooth functionality, thanks to Nvidia G-Sync and G-Sync e-sports Mode. The monitor also features the Nvidia Reflex Latency Analyzer. Acer LightSense, ColorSense and ProxiSense technologies. There is a BlueLightShield Pro feature, and it has got TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification.
