Amazon’s Fire TV Stick can’t match blockbuster free update from Roku

The Fire TV Stick might be one of the most popular streaming gadgets on the planet but Roku currently has one advantage. Owners of these mini telly-watching devices can now get a whole three months of Hayu access without paying a penny for the privilege. This premium service usually costs £4.99 per month so there’s a total saving of around £15 to be made.

Although Fire TV Stick users can get 7 days for free, that doesn’t come close to matching the 90 days now on offer to Roku fans.

As a quick reminder, Hayu offers on-demand reality TV with a massive selection of over 6,000 episodes and over 600 reality TV shows.

Popular content includes episodes of The Real Housewives, The Kardashians, Below Deck, Million Dollar Listing, and more hit shows from the US some of which become available just the day after they air.

If you own a Roku device then you can sign up and get access Hayu from now until July 26.

Even if you’ve not joined the streaming revolution you can still but one of these gadgets and claim the contnet just make sure you take the plunge before that July deadline.

Prices start from £29.99 for the standard Roku Express HD which offers High Definition streaming and full access to all of the most popular streaming apps.
