Apple is set to expand its earbuds lineup with the AirPods Pro 2 which is also expected to release soon. According to a report by GSMArena, some details about the upcoming earbuds have been revealed online. The report has also shared some images which reveal the design of the soon-to-be-released AirPods Pro 2. The first-generation AirPods Pro is available in India at Rs 26,300 through the company’s official website. The upcoming earbuds are expected to feature the H1 chip and will likely support adaptive active noise cancellation. Moreover, the AirPods Pro 2 is also supposed to offer improved performance and better power usage for “higher integration and better manufacturing technology”, claims the report.

The images shared by the report reveal that the charging case will support a USB-C port that will offer optimised fast charging. Moreover, the report also suggests that the design of the upcoming earbuds is almost the same as the original AirPods Pro and the AirPods 3. As per the report, the stems of the AirPods Pro 2 are also expected to come equipped with similar pressure-sensitive buttons as its predecessor.

The Apple AirPods Pro 2 is expected o feature an improved Find My function along with new additions like heart rate monitoring and a Hearing Aid mode. The report suggests that the heart rate sensor might also have the capability to monitor temperature as well. However, the report doesn’t clearly state whether temperature monitoring will be available on the upcoming earbuds or not.
The Hearing Aid mode is likely to function hand-in-hand with the new charging case, which might also have a microphone to transmit everything that it hears to the earphone for a better experience. Moreover, the new charging case is also likely to include a speaker which can play sounds as the user activates the Find My function. This feature will make it even easier for the users to locate their AirPods Pro 2 case.
The upcoming earphones are expected to enhance the audio quality by combining customised high-amplitude drive units and high dynamic range amplifiers with automatically adaptive EQ, spatial audio for head tracking and audio sharing, mentions the report.
