Apple iPhone 13 may get a new colour in 2021 – Times of India

The next Apple iPhone or the iPhone 13, as some would like to call it, may come in a new colour option: Rose Pink, as claimed on Twitter by the Peng Store, an online/offline store based out of Nigeria. The tweet claims that the iPhone Pro Max will have a Rose Pink colour option and that it would launch in December 2021. The particular tweet was made earlier this month and now rumours are doing the rounds about a Rose Pink colour iPhone.

Apple has been known to introduce a new colour to its iPhone series months and even a year after they are launched, the Product (Red) and the Purple variant of the iPhone 12 being the examples. It has also replaced an iPhone colour with another one with the launch of the successor model, as in the case with Midnight Green colour on the iPhone 11 Pro that was replaced with a Pacific Blue option on the iPhone 12. The company recently also introduced fresh, bright colour options to its iMac lineup, which goes on to say that Apple is looking to introduce new colour options with its upcoming launches.
The other features the next iPhone is rumoured to come with are a 120Hz ProMotion display which could be an Always-On Display. As per the rumours, the Always-On Display will only show time, battery percentage, and incoming notifications. How Apple plans to cut down on the battery consumption with an always-on display remains to be seen, if the feature is going to be introduced at all. Also, the iPhone 13 could come with a smaller, taller notch, with the earpiece getting shifted into the bezel area.
