Apple may not launch this iPhone model in 2023 – Times of India

Apple first introduced a ‘mini’ iPhone in 2020. The Cupertino-based company then surprised everyone with the launch of iPhone 12 mini as the most affordable iPhone under the iPhone 12 series. The trend continued this year with the iPhone 13 mini launch earlier this month. Now a leakster says that there could be no ‘mini’ iPhone in 2023 and that the iPhone 13 mini could be the last ‘mini’ iPhone.
Popular tipster Jon Prosser shared the piece of information via a post on Twitter. “Reminder: The iPhone 13 mini is THE LAST “mini” iPhone. There will not be a 14 mini next year. So if you’ve been thinking about trying the mini, the 13 mini is your last chance,” the tweet reads.

In case you are not aware, Apple reportedly cut the iPhone 12 mini production by 70% earlier this year. The device was then said to have suffered from poor sales as compared to other iPhone 12 models.
Meanwhile, the all-new iPhone 13 mini comes with a 5.4-inch Super Retina OLED screen. It comes powered by Apple A15 Bionic chipset and runs iOS 15 out-of-the-box. Similar to other iPhone 13 models, the handset’s base model comes with a storage of 128GB. Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Pink and Product Red are the colour variants of the device.
Apple iPhone 13 mini comes with an IP68 rating and is splash, water, and dust resistant. It is equipped with a dual 12MP camera system on the back consisting of a wide sensor and an ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 12MP TrueDepth camera at the front.
