One tweeted: “@Barclays @Barclaycard My Barclaycard account is no longer displayed on my Barclays app. Is it a problem at my end or yours?”

While another posted: “hey @Barclaycard – do you have a website problem?”

One added: “@Barclaycard I can’t seem to login to your website today, just get the following: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”

And another wrote: “@Barclaycard Any news when the problem will be fixed? Can’t log in online & app not working either! Thanks”.

The official Barclaycard Twitter account has been responding to users affected by the service disruption today, confirming there are issues with the website and advising people hit by app problems on what to do.
