The French and German finance ministers have called on the European Commission to quickly approve their economic recovery plans, so money can be paid out of the EU’s €750 billion fund agreed last year. France is seeking €40 billion from Brussels, while Germany is looking for €26 billion. Also today, we report on the latest controversy over pensions in Chile.
