Call of Duty Vanguard: Call of Duty Vanguard gets confirmed, Activision drops short teaser – Times of India

Call of Duty Vanguard will be the next entry in the game franchise. After some leaks, Activision has finally confirmed the game and released a 1 minute 41 seconds trailer for the game. Vanguard will be revealed on August 19 in Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale game at 10.30 AM PT which makes it 11 PM IST.
The teaser shows four mysterious faces in four separate regions of the war. For example, one is inside a dense jungle, another is close to an airplane crash. The game is said to be set in World War 2 and the featured locales in the teaser could well have been of Stalin’s Russia during Operation Barbarossa, Nazi-occupied Africa, Normandy and Ardennes. But earlier rumours and leaks indicated that the game was to be set on the Western front only. Can it feature multiple storylines set on the different fronts of World War 2? Activision may have launched a teaser but it has kept the other details under wraps only.

The teaser ends with the voice of a character saying “whatever we do, we do it together”. As per an earlier leak, Call of Duty: Vanguard will come in three game bundles: Standard, Cross-Gen and Ultimate. Activision had done a similar thing regarding the bundles with Black Ops Cold War last year. Some details about Vanguard’s Ultimate Edition have also leaked, including early access to an open beta for those who pre-order the game. Purchasing the Ultimate Edition could get you a set of new operators, a mastercraft weapon, a weapons pack and other bonuses. With less than two days to go, and the teaser just leaving cryptic clues, the ball is still in Activision’s court to surprise us.
