Case filed against Kapil Sharma for breach of contract during North America tour

A case has been filed against comedian-actor Kapil Sharmafor breaching contract during his North America tour in 2015. According to a new report, a NY Court by a company called Sai USA Inc has filled the law suit in a NY court as Kapil did not live up to his commitment of performing six show. The company has alleged that Kapil was paid to perform for six show whereas he only performed five of them. It also says, that Kapil had promised to make up for the loss.

Sai USA Inc, based out of New Jersey, is led by Amit Jaitly. Taking to their Facebook page, Sai USA shared a report on the case. They captioned the post, “SAI USA INC FILES THE LAWSUIT AGAINST KAPIL SHARMA FOR Breach of contract in 2015.”

Amit Jaitly, a well-known promoter of shows in America, claimed that Kapil Sharma was to perform in six shows but could only do five. As per a report in ETimes, Amit said that Kapil had promised to make up for the loss. He said, “He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.”

The report also states that the case is pending in a New York court and Sai Inc will ‘definitely be taking legal action against him’.

Kapil Sharma is currently on a North-America tour with his The Kapil Sharma Show team including Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Krushna Abhishek. They have already performed in Vancouver and Toronto and are due to perform in New York in the second week of July.
