Class 12 marks will be published at the earliest, says TN education minister – Times of India
Chief minister M K Stalin had released the evaluation criteria in Chennai on Saturday in which class X board examination marks were given highest weightage of 50 percent. While 30 percent weightage is given to class 11 board exam, rest of the 20 percent marks will be given for internal assessment and practical exams.
He said the job has become easy as these marks are already available in the portal. “Teachers don’t have to visit schools to see the register to enter marks. Since both, class X and XI are board exams, the data is already available in the portal in Chennai.
The marks will be calculated based on the evaluation criteria and results will be published at the earliest, said the minister.
