Coronavirus Live Updates:  India will see the gradual reopening and resumption of the economic activities even as the states voice concern over depleted vaccine stocks. National Capital Delhi is also part of the unlock phase as the positivity rate dipped to 0.5%. Apart from the markets and malls, the Delhi Metro will resume its services. In neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government has also lifted the corona curfew except in Saharanpur, Meerut and Gorakhpur. Maharashtra will also enter the phase 1 of the unlock process. However, the experts have sounded caution as India still has not vaccinated enough number of people. As of today, less than 4% of the total population has got both the doses of the Covid vaccine. While the corona tally shows that the worst is over, but with the past track record show otherwise. So has India finally learnt the lesson from the horrors of the second wave of coronavirus and ready for a calibrated unlock? The jury is out.
