CoSIDA Academic Football All-District Honors Announced

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  A total of 22 Mid-South Conference Football student-athletes were named to the CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-District Team, the national organization announced on Thursday.

Southeastern (Fla.) had five players named to the NAIA District 1 team. Cooper Jones, Mitchell Green, Loobert Denelus, Cory Rahman  and Chris Thompson all earned honors.

Faulkner’s (Ala.) Travis Pate, Austin Cummings, T’Auntre Spence and Alvin Renteria were the Eagles are also members on the District 1 team. Ave Maria’s (Fla.) Jalyn Robinson, Stephen Killop and Shane O’Brien, Webber International’s (Fla.) Frederick Curry Jr., Tanner Peacock and Trent Peacock make up the remaining MSC Football student-athletes on the NAIA District 1 team.

Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Cameron Dukes, Eli Cross, Joe Gressette and Cameron Thurman, Thomas More’s (Ky.) Mason Kramer and Andrew Bartolovich and Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Logan Mann are members of the NAIA District 2 team.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field  and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early July.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.

The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
