Cumberlands Leads After Day One of MSC Women’s Golf Fall Tournament

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands (Ky.) leads after day one of the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golf Fall Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club.
Due to darkness, there were some groups that were not able to finish the second round. The rest of the second round and the third round will begin on Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. CT.
Cumberlands shot a 325 in the first round and is currently shooting a 306 in the second round. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is currently five shots behind the Patriots while Cumberland (Tenn.) is third.
Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Paige Ferguson sits atop the leaderboard at 7-over par. Ferguson recorded a hole-in-one in the first round on the par-3 132 yard seventh hole. Cumberland’s Anna Kreiger is four shots behind. Cumberlands Maria Neira and Bethel’s (Tenn.) Albane Le Helloco are tied for third while Cumberlands’ Ginevra Capo is in fifth.
Campbellsville is fourth followed by Tennessee Southern in fifth. Bethel is in sixth place, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) is currently in seventh while Pikeville (Ky.) is eighth.
Thomas More (Ky.) is ninth, Georgetown (Ky.) is 10th while Shawnee State (Ohio) rounds out the team standings in 11th.
The final day of the MSC Women’s Golf Fall Tournament gets underway at 7:45 a.m. CT Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club.
