Currys clearance sale offers cheap TVs, Windows 10 laptops and more – stores open tomorrow

With the UK’s lockdown finally coming to an end, most retailers are opening their doors for the first time this year. From tomorrow we can all go shopping again and one company that has confirmed the grand reopening of 249 stores is Currys who is marking the occasion with a massive sale.
This XXL Clearance event gets underway on Monday, April 12 with Currys saying that it will be one of its biggest ever. In fact, some products will see a discount of up to 70 percent off their original price. Full details are yet to be revealed but Currys has said that TVs, headphones and Windows 10 laptops will be heavily discounted in stores.
And don’t worry if you don’t fancy heading into your local town just yet as the retailer has also confirmed that all products will be available at cheaper prices on its website.
Customers still have the option to order online and collect in-store, including a completely contactless process if this is their preference. Stores are also extending their opening hours by two hours per day Monday-Saturday to allow customers additional time to visit and avoid busy periods; most stores will open 10am to 8pm, and will be reviewed as stores begin to fully operate across the nation.

Speaking about the sale, Chief Operating Officer, Mark Allsop said: “We are thrilled to be reopening the doors of our stores and welcoming people back carefully and safely to protect everyone, from customers to colleagues. Since the unveiling of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure we have all the necessary safety and hygiene protocols in place ahead of reopening.
“Alongside this we wanted to celebrate our doors being open once again by offering everyone the chance to get their hands on some amazing technology either online or instore at amazing prices with our XXL Clearance. We are excited to offer up to 70% off some products, with extra savings to be made online.”
