Delta to Expand 2023 European Schedule | Business Travel News
Beginning with the summer 2023 season, Delta Air Lines will offer new or resumed European flights, with 8 percent more available seats than summer 2022, the carrier announced.
New York-JFK service beginning April 10 will include daily flights to each London-Gatwick and Geneva, marking the first time the carrier is flying between JFK and the Swiss city since 1993, according to Delta. Resumption of daily service to Berlin will begin May 25, which also is when the carrier will add a third seasonal daily flight to Rome.
Atlanta routes include the resumption of three-times weekly service to Stuttgart on March 26, three-times weekly service to Dusseldorf beginning May 9, and five-times weekly seasonal service to Edinburgh beginning May 25. The latter route has not been operated since 2007, according to Delta.
For Los Angeles, the carrier will begin to operate daily service to London-Heathrow on March 25 and will restart daily Paris service May 8. The next phase of Delta’s new Terminal 3 facility at LAX is set to open to passengers on Oct. 5, with eight of the nine new gates beginning operations. The prior phase, completed in April, included the opening of the new “headhouse” and Delta Sky Club.
