Experiments with Google Provides Inspirational EdTech Experiments to Use with Students in Class

Experiments with Google is an innovative project launched in 2009 by Google allowing coders from all around the world to create experiments using Chrome, Android, AI,  AR and more. Over the years, Experiments with Google has grown into an educational hub featuring projects, resources, and tools and providing inspiration and motivation to coders to create and share their creations with the world.

Experiments with Google features various collections including Arts & Culture Experiments, AI+ Writing, Digital Wellbeing Experiments, AR Experiments, Chrome Experiments and many more. Of particular interest for us in education is this collection called Experiments for Learning. This is basically “a collection of experiments that teachers, parents, and students have found helpful, whether in the classroom or learning from home. Create music, make art, take virtual field trips, and more.”

Some of the projects featured on Experiments for learning include: Chrome music lab: Song maker (helps you create your own songs and share them), Notable women (enables you to view ’00 historic American women where they’ve historically been left out: U.S. currency’), Access Mars (enables you to explore ‘the real surface of Mars as captured by the Curiosity Rover’), and many more.

Experiments in Experiments for Learning are organized into different categories including: Create Music, Explore Music, Virtual Field Trips, Drawing, Math + Science, Coding +AI, Space, History + Storytelling, and many more.
