explorer edition: Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition receives TENAA certification, complete specs revealed – Times of India

Realme GT Master Explorer Edition was launched by the company in 2021. Earlier reports suggested that the Chinese smartphone maker is working on a successor named Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. According to a report by GSMArena, the rumoured successor device has been certified by TENAA. The Chinese certification agency has also allotted the model number RMX3551 for the upcoming device and has been certified for sale in its domestic market. The TENAA certification has also revealed a few images and some key details about the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition expected specifications
The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display which is likely to be flat and will house a centrally located hole-punch for the selfie camera. The display is said to support a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 pixels resolution.
The upcoming handset might be powered by Qualcomm‘s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which will be backed by up to 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. As per the report, the smartphone may offer three different RAM and storage configurations and might not allow users to expand the storage.
The upcoming device is supposed to sport a triple rear camera setup which is expected to include a 50MP wide camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The display will house a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Moreover, the handset may also include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery unit that is likely to support 100W fast charging. The report also mentions that the smartphone will be available in three different colour options — white, brown, and green.
