Fashion retailer TEMT will be “going out of business” in mid-June after 8 years of operation
Australian fashion retailer TEMT announced on Monday (May 17) that it will be “going out of the business” in mid-June 2021.
It did not specify reasons for the closure, but said that its Paya Lebar outlet is holding a sale with “large discounts” starting from yesterday and urged customers to take advantage of these savings.
Throughout its past eight years of operation in Singapore, it has closed several other outlets, including VivoCity, Somerset, Westgate, Bugis+ and Junction 8.
It is now left with only two outlets here at Paya Lebar Quarter and Jurong Point.
TEMT is part of Fast Future Brands, which is a retail company that owns fashion brands like TEMT and Valleygirl. According to the company’s LinkedIn page, it has experienced rapid growth since opening its first store in 1996.
At the end of 2010, it owned 73 TEMT stores and 75 Valleygirl stores. TEMT in particular, is well-known for its affordable yet trendy fast fashion pieces for women.
