NAIA Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Four Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the final NAIA Softball Coaches’ Poll, the national office announced
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the highest rated team from the MSC coming in at No. 5. The Blue Raiders earned 464 points in the poll from the voters. Lindsey Wilson is 37-7 this season and is the No. 2 seed in the MSC Softball tournament.
Campbellsville (Ky.) moved up one spot in the poll to No. 16. The Tigers received 464 points in the poll. Campbellsville is 37-11 and is the top seed in the conference tournament.
Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) fell two spots to No. 18 in the poll. The Lions earned 257 points in the poll. Freed-Hardeman is 37-9 this season and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament facing Martin Methodist in the first round.
Cumberlands (Ky.) is the last MSC team in the top 25. The Patriots are ranked 24th and received 110 points in the poll.
Southern Oregon sits atop the poll with 529 points and 18 of the 19 first-place votes. Oklahoma City comes in at No. 2 with 512 points and the final first-place vote.
Science & Arts (Okla.) is third with 493 points and Central Methodist is fourth with 471 points.
The postseason poll is scheduled to come out on Wednesday, June 9.
