galaxy unpacked: Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 could come with a new way to pair them – Times of India

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is to be held on August 11. The South Korean tech giant is expected to showcase a string of devices at the event, with the main attractions expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy ZFlip3, Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Then there is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Buds 2 also in the list of upcoming devices. A new pairing method for the upcoming Galaxy Buds 2 has appeared in the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app, as per a report by TizenHelp.
The new method involves first putting the earbuds in the charging case instead of in your ears. Next, users have to touch and hold both the earbuds for 3 seconds until the lights in the case start blinking in red and green. You won’t have to put the earbuds in your ears and then hold them for 3 seconds to make them enter into the pairing mode and then finish connecting with a beep. The report also notes that with the latest update, the icon for the Galaxy Wearable app has been changed to blue from orange.
Are the customers going to like it? We suppose it boils down to how easily buyers get accustomed to the new pairing method for which you need to pair them first when they are inside the charging case and then take them out to start listening to content right away. It sounds smooth and easy but will the users lap the new pairing method up? Let them decide what works best for them.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are rumoured to come with 20 hours of battery life with the ANC on. They are speculated to launch in five colour options and could cost around €170 (about Rs 15,000).
