Genshin Impact‘s 2.4 Update is finally close to launching on all platforms, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on it.

Released towards the end of 2020, Genshin Impact has grown several folds and established its name in the gacha genre. We have witnessed the game evolving significantly in the past few months, with a slew of updates arriving for the game.

miHoYo has announced the details of the first update of 2022, which will also be including an all-new banner with some exciting characters. As of now, the release time of the update is slated to be as follows, although there might be some changes according to how the rollout happens.

• January 5, 7:00 pm PST
• January 5, 10:00 pm EST
• January 5, 03:00 am GMT

For the first banner of the 2.4 Update, we have Xiao as the 5-star character. This was known for quite a while now, as speculations had stated that Xiao’s rerun would coincide with the return of the Lantern Rite event. Apart from that, we have a new weapon banner as well.

The weapon banner will be including Calamity Queller and Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, along with a slew of other 4-star weapons. Like always, we have a new region arriving in the game as well, which is none other than Enkanomiya.
