Give industry tag to health sector: Private hospitals to government – ET HealthWorld
Jaipur: Joint action committee against the right to health bill, a body of doctors’ associations clarified on Sunday that they have not called off their agitation but postposed it for some days.
They demanded from the government to declare the private health care sector as an industry and for its functioning, they demanded that they should be provided with a low rate of electricity, renewal of fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) every five years, and other facilities.
They also demanded increase in rate of packages under state government health insurance scheme, including Chiranjeevi scheme and Rajasthan government health scheme. State Joint Action Committee against right to health bill chairperson Dr Sunil Chugh said they have announced that they have not withdrawn their agitation against the Right to Health Bill, but it has been postponed for the time being. tnn
