Google ad shows Pixel 6 in flesh for the first time, may launch in October – Times of India

With the 2020 iPhones launch nearing, Google has started promoting its Pixel 6 series. The company has launched a promo video of the Pixel 6 series. It has also shared a teaser of the upcoming phone on Instagram.
Talking about the promo ad, this is the first time Google Pixel 6 phone is seen in people’s hands. Only images of the phone were seen till now. In the 31-second long video, Google showcases Android 12’s new volume slider and asks “What if your phone saw you for who you are.” The ad also teases Android 12 Material theme design and ends with a clip of the new Tensor chip. For those unaware, Google Pixel 6 series will be powered by the company’s own and new Tensor chipset.

In the Instagram post, Google has shared an image of the front panel of Pixel 6 phone. It shows Android 12’s new UI on the phone’s screen. If looked closely, the clock face on the screen also hints at October 19 as the possible launch date of the smartphone. But it is mere speculation and Google is yet to officially announce the launch date. Nevertheless, Google Pixel 6 smartphone will come later this year, as Google says.
Google Pixel 6 series: What to expect
Google Pixel 6 series is expected to consist of two smartphones- Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 6 is said to offer a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 6 Pro may have a 6.7-inch QHD+ panel with support for 120Hz refresh rate.
On the camera front, Pixel 6 is expected to come with a dual lens camera at the back. While the Pixel 6 Pro may have triple cameras consisting of a main wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.
