Google inviting some Pixel users to try out its answer to ChatGPT – Times of India

Google is excited to get people aboard the Bard ship, but it knows that generative AI, what ChatGPT and Bard are, do not always get it right. That is why Google is inviting some Pixel users, more precisely, the “Superfans,” to try out the Bard before everyone else.
9to5Google reports that Google is sending out invites to some Pixel Superfans, who are considered to be the “most passionate Pixel owners,” giving them early access to the Bard.
The email, as seen by the publication, reads, “Meet Bard, an early experiment by Google that lets you collaborate with generative AI. We’d like to offer you – a member of our Pixel Superfan community – early access so you can get started as soon as Bard launches and share your feedback.
“We can’t wait to hear how people start using Bard, but we also know that large language models will not always get it right. Input from a wide range of experts and users will help Bard improve.”
While Bard was announced a while ago, it is still under testing, but only Google employees can access it. So, it would be the first time Bard would be opened to ordinary people, even though only some would have access to it.
From the email, it can be intercepted that the Bard is still not live, but it can be launched in the coming days, considering a Superfan has already received the invite. Also, it remains uncertain when Bard will be available for the masses since it seems to be still very much in the works.
Sadly, Pixel users in India would not receive the invitation, as Google’s Pixel Superfan program is not available in India. If you are in a region where Pixel Superfan is available, you can hope to receive an email, then hop on to Bard and tell Google how good or bad it is. So, Google, with your help and a “wide range of experts,” can improve the Bard.
