Recently, Google was also conducting an online survey on Wear OS. In the survey the company was asking users how satisfied they are with Wear OS.
Apart from this, rumours also suggest Samsung is planning to ditch its in-house Tizen OS this time. The company is planning to go with the Wear OS for its upcoming smartwatches. On the other hand, Google is also said to be working on its own smartwatch likely to be called Pixel Watch.
Pixel Watch is expected to sport a circular dial and is said to come in Silver and Black colour options. The wearable is said to pack the company’s own custom chip and if not that, the smartwatch might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset. The Pixel Watch is also said to come with a blood oxygen monitor and sleep tracking functionality.
The Google I/O 2021 will begin at 10.30 pm (IST) today and you can watch the live stream of the event by going to the company’s YouTube channel. Users can also participate in Q&A, AMAs, workshops and other sessions. To do so, they will have to register on the Google I/O site.
