Google’s new Nest smart speaker gets a feature your Amazon Echo can’t only dream of

Of course, this is a Google speaker so there’s full access to the useful personal assistant which will answer all your questions, set timers, turn on the lights and read you the daily news headlines.

One final advantage of the Nest Hub is that, unlike the Echo, you can access Disney+ on the 7-inch screen which is something Amazon is yet to bring to any of its smart speakers.

Now, before you go rushing to hit the “buy” there are a couple of things to note.

Firstly, you won’t find an in-built camera inside the Nest Hub which some people may prefer but it does mean you can’t make any video calls via this device.
