Huawei’s former sub-brand Honor is set to launch a new smart wearable band, called Honor Band 6.
The date of the launch is not yet certain as of now, but a microsite spotted on e-commerce platform Flipkart suggests that the launch is imminent.
The Flipkart listing page of the Honor Band 6 also confirms the design and few specifications of the upcoming fitness tracker.
The key highlight of the Honor Band 6 is that it will offer support for SpO2 blood monitoring, which is a useful feature these days. Honor claims that the device will compile the optical hardware and software algorithms to precisely detect Blood Oxygen level.
In terms of specs, the Honor Band 6 sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with narrow bezels. Honor claims that with this screen size, it is offering 148% more display area than the traditional fitness trackers. The dial is in a rectangular shape and will have a small Red line button on the right edge and Honor branding on the left.
Set to be launched in three colour options — Meteorite Black, Sandstone Grey and Coral Pink, the Honor Band 6 will offer support for multiple band faces.
The Honor Band 6 will also come with 24-hour heart rate monitoring support with its TruSeen 4.0 and accurate sleep detection support with the TruSleep algorithm.
When it comes to workouts, the Honor Band 6 is set to offer support for 10 activities such as outdoor running, indoor walking and more. It will offer an auto-detect workout for 6 of these activities.
Another key highlight of the upcoming Honor Band 6 is its battery life. Honor claims that the Honor Band 6 will last 3 days with a charging time of just 10 minutes. Ona single full charge, users can expect 14 days of juice with typical usage and 10 days of juice with heavy usage.
