Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: Notification released, application registration begins on Oct 29 – Times of India
For the total of 300 vacancies, approximately 1500 candidates will be called for written examination and Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The cut off marks for appearing in written examination may vary from state to state.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only on official website – www.joinindiannavy.gov.in and all required documents in original are to be scanned and uploaded.

Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: Educational Qualifications
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

Candidates should be born between April 1, 2002 to March 31, 2005 (Both dates inclusive).
Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: Selection Criteria
Written Test
a) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
b) The question paper will comprise of two sections i.e. Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge.
c) The standard of the question paper will be of 10th level and the syllabus for the examination is available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in
d) Duration of examination will be 30 minutes.
e) All candidates appearing for written examination would be subjected to PFT on the same day.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
a) Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection.
b) PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
Merit list for MR will be prepared based on performance in written examination subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Approximately 400 candidates will be issued call up letter for Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka on the basis of state wise merit.
The cut off marks for issue of call up letter for Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka may vary from state to state.
Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: Pay & Allowances
During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ Rs 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).
Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2021: How to apply
For this entry, the candidates can apply online only on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from October 29, 2021 to November 2, 2021. The procedure is as follows:-
a) Before filling online application, keep matric certificate ready for reference.
b) Register yourself on www.joinindiannavy.gov.in with your e-mail ID, if not registered already. The applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active e-mail IDs and mobile numbers, which should not be changed till selection procedure is over.
c) Log-in with the registered e-mail ID and Click on “Current Opportunities”.
d) Click on “Apply” button.
e) Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original & uploaded.
Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date for submission of online application. Candidates should avoid submitting multiple applications. If more than one application is received from a candidate, his candidature will be cancelled.
