Itel launches smartphone for Reliance Jio users, A23 Pro – Times of India

Chinese smartphone brand Itel has launched an entry-level smartphone — called Itel A23 Pro — in India in partnership with telecom company Reliance Jio. The key highlight of the smartphone is its price and its 4G connectivity.

The smartphone has been launched in a single storage variant that has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage at Rs 3,899 for Jio users.
Under this offer, data connectivity will be available on the Jio network. Itel A23 Pro customers on Jio would be entitled to benefits worth Rs 3,000, which include vouchers from partners on select prepaid recharge of Rs 249 & above. This offer is applicable to new as well as existing Jio subscribers.
The handset will go on sale starting June 1 through Reliance Digital Stores, MyJio Stores, Reliancedigital.in and other retail stores.
Itel A23 Pro specs
Running on Android 10.0 (Go Edition) out of the box, the Itel A23 Pro smartphone offers a display of a 5-inch screen of 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
The Itel A23 Pro smartphone comes powered by a 1.4Ghz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832E processor. On the storage front, the device offers 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of up to 32GB.
For imaging duties, the Itel A23 Pro has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA selfie camera on the front. The camera comes with a beauty mode.
Backed by a 2400mAh battery, the Itel A23 Pro comes with dual SIM support, one of which has to be a Jio SIM. For security purposes, the handset comes with Smart Face Unlock support.
Offering a gradient back design, the Itel A23 Pro can be purchased in two colour options — Sapphire Blue and Lake Blue.
