JetBlue will add a second daily flight between New York-JFK and
London-Gatwick beginning Oct. 29, the carrier announced Monday. The service supplements
its current daily flight between the airports, as well as its daily
JFK-Heathrow flight.

The New York-based carrier’s transatlantic expansion also

begin Aug. 4, and service between Boston-Logan and London-Heathrow, scheduled
to begin Sept. 20.

In addition, JetBlue has secured permanent slots at London
Heathrow, Terminal 2, for flights starting Oct. 29, according to the carrier.

Further, the airline announced expedited security screening
availability at both Heathrow and Gatwick for JetBlue Mint customers, Mosaic
customers and Mosaic companions traveling on the same reservation, customers
who purchased a Blue Extra fare and customers who purchased an Even More Space
seat. At Heathrow, customers should follow signs for “Fast Track.” At
Gatwick, customers should follow signs for “Premium Security,”
according to JetBlue.
