L Catterton-Backed Beauty Business Valued at $1.5 Billion by New Investors
A consumer-technology company whose brands include online beauty products seller Il Makiage and that is backed by private-equity firm L Catterton gained several new investors through a $130 million deal valuing the business at $1.5 billion.
Money managers Franklin Templeton and Fidelity Investments joined billionaire film producer and technology investor Thomas Tull in leading the transaction, which included First Light Capital Group, an investment firm founded by his wife, Alba Tull.
