If you’re in the market for a new TV then this could be a good week to go shopping. LG is launching a huge sale this week with the firm boasting that its pin-sharp OLED tellies will be dropped to their “best ever price” from tomorrow, March 9.

The deal, which will last for the next 7 days, will see 10 percent knocked off the price of TVs. These include the BX, CX and GX ranges at selected UK retailers. The drop means you can pop one of these goggleboxes in your living room for under £1,000.

Speaking about the deal, LG said: “LG is immensely proud to offer its LG OLED range; the pinnacle of TV technology.

“For just 7 days between 10th and 16th March, you can take home a Which? Best Buy LG OLED TV for the best price, ever.

“Take this opportunity to be transported into the most immersive home cinema experience, to embrace the realism and intensity of the sports stadium in your living room, and to unleash the full potential of next generation gaming consoles whilst also boosting your competitive gaming edge.”

Now before you get too excited, the discounts are all for LG’s 2020 TVs with the firm about to release a bunch of new screens in the coming months.

That said, the discount is still pretty good and LG’s 2020 TVs did manage to bag 60 awards across the range in the UK in the past year with the LG 55BX and 55GX being recognised as the ‘Highest scoring OLED TV in 2020’, according to Which?.

If any of this sounds tempting then here is what will be available from today.

LG BX

Customers will be able to purchase the highly coveted LG 55BX TV for under £1,000 (£989), saving a total of approx. £211 from the original RRP (£1,199.99).

Discounted Prices: 55BX – £989 / 65BX – £1,439

LG CX

Excitingly, the highly sought-after and world-first 48-inch OLED TV, the LG 48CX, will be available to purchase for just over £1,000 at £1,169, saving a total of £310 from the original RRP (£1,479) – a perfect choice for those who don’t have the space for a larger screen in their homes but don’t want to compromise on quality.
