BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – No. 1 ranked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) will host No. 3 ranked Grand View (Iowa) in the NAIA Football Championship Semifinals, the NAIA announced.
The semifinals are slated to be played on Saturday, December 4 at campus sites.
Lindsey Wilson defeated Keiser (Fla.) 54-12 in the NAIA FCS Quarterfinals on Saturday. This is the Blue Raiders’ third-straight appearance in the semifinals.
Grand View punched its ticket to the semifinals defeating Concordia (Mich.) 31-16 on Saturday.
The semifinal matchup is the third meeting between the two schools. Each team has won a game with the previous two matchups being in the postseason. Grand View won the first matchup 16-13 in 2015 while Lindsey Wilson won 34-27 in 2016.
In the other semifinal matchup, Morningside (Iowa) hosts Northwestern (Iowa).
The two semifinal winners will meet in the national championship game on Saturday, December 18 at Durham County Memorial Stadium in Durham, N.C.
