Manipal hospitals to conduct vaccination drive for frontline health workers – ET HealthWorld
Ambulance drivers and paramedical staff will be the first to receive the precautionary dose across all Manipal Hospitals across Bangalore. This initiative aims to prepare them mentally and physically to tackle the possible challenges ahead during unprecedented times.
“The frontline workers have done a selfless deed by ensuring patients’ safety over their own. They have put their lives on the line and prioritized the lives of critical patients. We feel the need to prioritise their safety and protect them from the challenges ahead due to the pandemic, and will be launching the precautionary dose vaccination drive with the ambulance drivers and paramedical staff,” said Karthik Rajagopal, COO, Manipal Hospitals.
The vaccination drive will take place as per the guidelines laid down by the state government. The vaccination drive will be manned by the healthcare professionals including nurses, vaccine officers and doctors. It will be conducted at various branches of Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru.
