Matatū are through to the final of Super Rugby Aupiki, having narrowly beaten the Blues 26-23 at North Harbour Stadium in their final pool game.

A hat-trick of tries for Chey Robins-Reti for the South Island side, helped Matatū into next weekend’s final where they will play either defending champions Chief Manawa or Hurricanes Poua.

Meanwhile the Highlanders have climbed off the bottom of the Super Rugby table, with their first win of the season beating Western Force 45-35 in Invercargill this afternoon.
