NEW DELHI: Xiaomi is all set to expand its Mi 11 series of smartphones. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Mi 11 Lite in India this month.
The smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Mi 11 Lite on June 22 in the country. The company revealed the launch date via a tweet. Mi India tweeted, “The wait is over! The slimmest, the lightest and the most loaded smartphone of 2021 is here! #Mi11Lite marks its India debut at 12 noon on June 22nd. We are super excited. Are you?”

The company already offers three smartphones under the Mi 11 series which include the most-expensive — Mi 11 Ultra and the mid-range Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite specifications
The Mi 11 Lite is powered by a mid-range octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor.
The smartphone sports a 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Mi 11 Lite runs Android 11 operating system topped with Xiaomi’s own layer of MIUI 12. The dual SIM smartphone comes in two variants — 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. Mi 11 Lite comes with a triple rear camera setup which comprises a 64MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP tele macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The mid-range smartphone houses a 4250mAh battery with 22W fast charging support.
