Mi TV 5X to launch at Xiaomi Smarter Living event on August 26, Mi Band 6 and Mi NoteBook lineup also expected – Times of India

Xiaomi Mi TV 5X is set to launch in India on August 26. The Chinese consumer technology giant is set to hold its Smarter Living event on August 26 at 12 pm. At this event, the company has already confirmed that it will launch the Mi Band 6 and Mi NoteBook lineup. Now, the next product to be confirmed from the brand is Mi TV 5X.
As the name suggests, the Mi TV 5X will succeed the Mi TV 4X series that was launched in India in 2019. Not much is revealed by the brand in terms of what buyers should expect, but we do hear that it is an India-first device.
Xiaomi Mi TV 5X: What to expect
When it comes to the Mi TV 5X, the teaser page by Xiaomi reveals that it will come with a metallic casing. Also, the audio performance of the TV should be among the key highlights as it is touted to come with ‘the best Dolby has to offer.’
It is said to come with a new generation of PatchWall UI and offer far-field mics powered by Google Assistant.
Mi Band 6 and Mi NoteBook lineup launch confirmed
Xiaomi has confirmed its Mi Band 6 fitness tracker in India. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 fitness tracker was launched by the company back in March in the company’s home country China, along with Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones. In China, the Mi Band 6 was launched at a starting price of CNY 229 (roughly Rs 2,500). It also launched a special edition with NFC at CNY 279 (roughly Rs. 3,000).
Other than the Mi Band 6, Xiaomi has said that it will launch the Mi NoteBook at the Smarter Living 2022 event. Xiaomi has been revealing one feature at a time of the upcoming laptop. Most recently, the company confirmed that the Mi NoteBook comes with Aerospace-grade Series 6 Aluminium Alloy.
