Microsoft affordable laptop to launch soon: What we know so far – Times of India

An updated version of Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has been spotted on the retailer listing. The tech giant is expected to soon launch the laptop, however, ahead of the launch, the laptop has already surfaced on a retailer listing in Korea.
The laptop’s listing reveals key details, features and changes about the unannounced Surface Laptop Go. Here’s everything we know so far about the laptop.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2: Expected processor
The noticeable change as per the listing is the 11th-generation Intel Core i5 1135G7 processor. The existing model comes with 10th-generation Intel processors. In addition to that, the laptop will come with Windows 11 pre-installed and feature an HD webcam.
Availability and pre-orders
It has already been reported that the laptop is set to go on pre-orders starting June 2 and it will be priced somewhere around $600. I

Other features of the laptop include a 12.4-inch 3:2 aspect ratio display, USB Type-A, Type-C, audio jack and a charging port. The laptop is also set to get a fingerprint scanner that will be built right into the power button.
Like the previous version, the backlit from the keyboard still appears to be missing.
As far as the retailer listing is concerned, the laptop model listed there has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is the same among of RAM and storage as the previous generation. The retailer listing also claims that the laptop will offer around 13.5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
