Mid-South Conference Swimming & Diving Championships Begin on Thursday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference Swimming & Diving Championships begin Thursday at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Bethel (Tenn.), Campbellsville (Ky.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Midway (Ky.), Pikeville (Ky.), Shawnee State (Ohio) and Tennessee Southern will all be competing for the championship.
On the women’s side, three MSC teams are ranked in the top 10 in the SwimCloud rankings. Cumberlands enters the championship ranked third, Indiana Wesleyan is ranked sixth while Lindsey Wilson is ninth. A pair of MSC schools are ranked in the top 10 in the men’s rankings. Cumberlands is ranked fourth while Lindsey Wilson is ranked sixth in the rankings.
Last year, Cumberlands captured both the men’s and women’s championships. The Patriots won their fourth-straight men’s championship and their eighth-consecutive women’s championship a year ago.
Competition starts at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday with preliminary heats and the first set of finals are slated for 5:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night. Action continues at 9 a.m. ET on Friday and session four is slated for Friday night at 5:30 p.m. ET.
The final day of competition starts at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, followed by the final session of the meet at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Live video is available for all sessions of the 2023 Mid-South Conference Swimming Championships at the Kingsport Aquatics Center. The sessions will be streamed at https://team1sports.com/midsouth/ for $9.99 a day or a full championship pass for $24.99.
