Mirzapur actor Brahma Mishra dies, co-stars Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma mourn his demise: ‘Our Lalit is no more’

Actor Bramha Mishra, best known for portraying Lalit in the popular series Mirzapur, has died, reported news agency ANI. Following the actor’s death, the Versova police have registered an accidental death report (ADR). The police suspect that prima facie, the actor died of a heart attack. The police are awaiting the autopsy report from Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital.

Ali Fazal, who co-starred with Brahma Mishra on the web show, shared an emotional note of condolence and wrote. Attaching a few glimpses of the late actor from Mirzapur, Ali wrote: “Hearts broken today, yet again. Brahma, take care saathi… RIP.”

Divyenndu Sharma mourned his co-star in a post, writing: “RIP Brahma Mishra. Our Lalit is no more. Let’s pray for him everyone.” He also shared a selfie featuring Brahma Mishra in his post. In the comments section, condolence messages poured in from other Mirzapur actors such as Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Shriya Pilgaonkar.

On Divyenndu’s post, Shweta reacted to the news with the praying hands icons. Shriya posted a broken heart icon and wrote: “Heartbreaking.”

Vijay Varma, who also featured in the series, shared a post about Brahma Mishra’s death on his Instagram story and expressed disbelief, writing: “No.” Gurmmeet Singh, who co-directed the web show, mourned the actor and wrote: “He brought a smile to a million faces. He will be missed. RIP Bramha Mishra.”

Apart from Mirzapur, Bramha Mishra also featured in films such as Haseen Dillruba, starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane. The late actor also starred in Akshay Kumar’s movie Kesari and 2013 movie Chor Chor Super Chor.
