‘Mirzapur’ actor Brahma Mishra found dead in his apartment; body sent for autopsy

Actor Brahma Mishra, best known for character ‘Lalit’ in ‘Mirzapur’ has passed away.

On Thursday, the police found his semi-decomposed body from his flat in Versova. The body has been sent for an autopsy at Dr. Cooper Hospital.

There are reports that Mishra, 36, had complained of chest pain on November 29, and had taken medication for the same. It is being said that he suffered a heart attack and died, but a confirmation on the same is awaited. It is after three days of his demise that the actor’s body was found in his home. After his neighbours complained of a stench emanating from his house that the police were informed.

Divyenndu, Mishra’s co-actor from the Prime Video series, took to his Instagram to confirm the news. He shared a heartfelt message about the actor.


Divyenndu posted a throwback picture of himself with Brahma Mishra and captioned the image, “RIP Brahma Mishra Our Lalit is no more Let’s pray for him everyone.”

Even Ali Fazal posted two pictures of Brahma Mishra on his social media. A heartbroken Ali wrote, “hearts broken today..yet again..Brahma.take care saathi . . RIP. #mirzapur …”


Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Shriya Pilgaonkar expressed their condolences in the comment section. The actor’s fans and his co-actors are shocked by the news. 

Actor Vijay Verma also shared Brahma Mishra’s picture in his stories with a broken heart.
