Mitsubishi Electric launches new range of air conditioners with PM 2.5 filter – Times of India

Japan-based electronics company Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new range of room air conditioners in India. The company has unveiled Kirigamine series (MSY-RJS), MSY JS series and MS-GS series AC in the country.
The latest range of ACs are equipped with advanced multistage air filters – Plasma Quad Connect. These filters are said to effectively prevent viruses, bacteria, molds, allergens, dust & PM2.5. The ACs come with a five-year PCB warranty and ten-year compressor warranty.
Kirigamine series (MSY-RJS) ACs are the company’s premium products that come with a ‘designer look’ to enhance the overall aesthetics of a room. The series include 4-star inverter ACs that are claimed to provide clean air with a PM2.5 filter.
The ACs also offer fast cooling, and long airflow for large rooms. It comes with a dual barrier coating that prevents dust and greasy dirt from getting into the air conditioner.
Mitsubishi Electric MSY JS series is a 4-star inverter AC. It is equipped with built-in features like, fast cooling, long airflow up to 12m suitable for living rooms, PM2.5 filter, auto up down & L-R vane providing a comfortable environment.
The MS-GS series, on the other hand, is a non-Inverter AC that comes with advanced tropical technology in compressors. The technology enables it to operate at outside air temperatures as high as 50°C.
The company says that the series has been specially designed keeping in mind, homes in the tropical regions. The series also provides High CFM which helps in faster cooling. The AC coil bends come with anti-corrosion coating to prevent leakage of refrigerant from the ACs. It is also equipped with PM2.5 filters.
