moto watch: Moto Watch 100 smartwatch launched in the US – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Motorola has expanded the wearable segment with the launch of its new smartwatch. Dubbed Moto Watch 100, the company has launched the smartwatch in the US. Made by eBuyNow, the smartwatch does not run on the Wear OS. The new wearable from the smartphone maker runs on its own proprietary Moto Watch OS.
The Moto Watch 100 comes in Glacier Silver and Phantom Black colour options. The company has priced the smartwatch at $99.99 (Rs 7,449) and it is available in the US from a dedicated moto watch website.
Moto Watch 100 features
Moto Watch 100 comes with a 1.3-inch LCD display and features a 42mm aluminium casing. The smartwatch comes with a heart rate sensor and a SpO2 monitor. It offers 26 sports modes which include basketball, biking, cricket, CrossFit, hiking, football, snowboarding, strength training and more.
Moto Watch 100 comes with a water-resistant design and has 20mm Quick Release Spring bars Watch pins that fit most bands and watches. The wearable measures 42 x 46 x 11.9mm and promises to offer 14 days of battery backup on a single charge. The company also claims that the smartwatch can charge completely within 60 minutes.
Recently, Motorola launched the Moto E30 smartphone in several European countries at GBP 99.99. The device looks similar to the Moto E40 smartphone which was launched by the company last month. Moto E30 smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision IPS display with 720×1,600 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone supports dual-SIM cards and it gets a fingerprint reader at the back for biometric security.
The Moto E30 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T700 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device gets 32GB capacity which is expandable up to 1TB through a microSD card.
