Motorola signs deal with Bharat Electronics to develop communication services – Times of India

Bangalore-based telecom equipment provider Motorola Solutions India Pvt Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with government-owned Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) to offer help with communication services. As per the MoU, both companies will use each other’s resources on broadband and push-to-talk (PTT) services to develop devices for the professional mobile radio market. These types of equipment will use Motorola’s WAVE PTX PTT service to enhance the connection speed and efficiency within teams.

What is WAVE PTX
WAVE PTX is a multimedia communication service that is developed by Motorola. This service operates even without a network and can be used to connect cross-functional teams. Devices that use this technology can help users to connect with their crew at the push of a button and they won’t be restricted by any range.
Other endeavours of BEL
According to a PTI report, BEL has also signed an MoU with a Singapore-based company named INERY that will help them with Blockchain technology. This MoU also aims for both companies to use each other’s resources to develop. Product offerings from both companies will improve by integrating BEL’s complementary functionalities and INERY’s solutions, the report adds.

The company has also signed an MoU with Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd (BGSW) for collaborating in the fields of e-Governance, ERP and Cloud solutions.
