Nokia could soon launch an iPad rival – Times of India

The going hasn’t been good for Android tablet makers. Many have tried — and failed — to replicate the success of the iPad. However, that hasn’t stopped from brands to give a shot at the tablet market which is dominated by Apple. HMD Global, the company that holds license to manufacture Nokia devices, seems to be working on a tablet.
According to a tweet by reliable tipster Evan Blass, a Nokia tablet could come soon. Blass tweeted a list of upcoming HMD Global devices which had “Nokia T20 Riddler” among them. The T20 is a tablet, as per Blass, with Riddler clearly being the codename.
An earlier report corroborates Blass claims. According to a report by Nokiamob, the Wi-Fi only variant of Nokia T20 tablet is expected to cost GBP 185 (Rs 19,100), while the WiFi+4G variant is expected to be priced at GBP 202 (Rs 20,900).
As per the listing, the yet-to-launch Nokia T20 tablet is said to come with a 10.36-inch touchscreen display. The tablet is said to offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The listing also reveals that the Android tablet will come in the Blue colour option. Apart from this, the company has not yet shared any details about the upcoming Nokia T20 Android tablet.
If rumours are to be believed then the Android tablet space is set to get a lot of action. Realme and Vivo are also working to launch their own tablets. Realme, earlier this year in June, announced its plans to unveil Realme Pad. The company also teased the upcoming device via a Twitter post.
Similarly, a trademark for Vivo Pad has also been spotted on the EUIPO listing. The same goes for OnePlus as a trademark for a tablet was filed by the Chinese smartphone maker.
