Nothing Phone (2) images, specifications leaked ahead of launch – Times of India

Nothing is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone — Phone (2) in India today (July 11). However, just a few hours ahead of the launch a new leak has surfaced online revealing the hands-on images and some specifications of the yet-to-launch smartphone.
Tipster TechDocterz has shared some hands-on images of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) on Twitter. According to leaked information, which has also been confirmed by the company, the upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone will be backed by a 4700mAh battery.

The leak also suggests that the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) is expected to pack 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The smartphone will run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s all new NothingOS 2.0. The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and sport an aluminium frame design. The smartphone is also tipped to feature stereo speakers for better sound experience.
The images shared in the leak reveal the dual rear camera setup of Nothing Phone (2). The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP secondary ultra-wide angle lens. Front is said to house a 32MP selfie shooter.
What the LEDs on Nothing Phone (2) indicate
Same as the Nothing Phone (1), the Phone (2) will also sport the glyph inspired design. Recently, YouTuber Marques Brownless posted a video online revealing more details about the LEDs of Nothing Phone (2).
The Nothing Phone (2) incorporates several LED indicators for various functions. Firstly, it features a volume indicator LED that illuminates when adjusting the volume. Additionally, there is a Timer LED located on the back of the phone that synchronises with the timer. Furthermore, one of the LEDs on the back displays your progress in Uber and Zomato. The phone also allows for the setup of app notification LEDs, which light up upon receiving notifications from specific applications. Lastly, when a wired charger is connected, the lower LEDs illuminate to indicate the progress of the charging process.
Nothing Phone (2) launch details
As mentioned above, Nothing Phone (2) will launch in India today. The company has scheduled the launch event for 8.30 pm where it will unveil the new flagship smartphone. The event will also be live streamed on Nothing’s official social media channels.
