One of the ‘most powerful’ OnePlus phone of 2020 gets a price cut – Times of India

NEW DELHI: One of the ‘most powerful’ OnePlus smartphones of the year 2020 — OnePlus 8T — has received a price drop. The company launched the OnePlus 8T last year in October at a starting price tag of Rs 42,999.
This also makes the smartphone one of the cheapest phones running on Qualcomm 865 processor. The other phones priced under Rs 40,000 and running on this processor are Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, iQoo 3 5G.
OnePlus 8T second price cut
The OnePlus 8T comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM which is now available at Rs 38,999 and Rs 41,999 after a price cut of Rs 1,000. This is the second price cut for the OnePlus 8T this year. The smartphone saw a cut of Rs 3,000 in February this year, bringing its price to Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM variant and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB RAM variant.
The new price is reflecting on both the OnePlus and Amazon websites. OnePlus 8T comes in two colour options — Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
OnePlus 8T specifications
OnePlus 8T is powered by an otac-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 128GB and 256GB internal storage.
OnePlus 8T runs Android 11 operating system and it features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED full HD+ display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises a 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 16MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture.
The handset is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge fast charging support. The smartphone also consists of dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
