OnePlus extends warranty of its products till June 30 – Times of India
The BBK-owned brand has announced that it is extending the warranty of all its products till June 30, whose expiry date lies between April 1 and June 29.
This comes after popular consumer technology companies such as Xiaomi, Poco, and other BBK-owned brands — Realme, Vivo and Oppo — announced extension of warranty of their products as the country battles a fresh wave of Covid-19 and restrictions are imposed in various places.
While Realme has extended the warranty till July 31,Vivo announced a 30-day warranty extension on its products and Oppo announced the extension of the repair warranty of all of its products until June 30 2021.
Along with extension of warranty, the company also confirmed that there will be a delay in delivery for recent product orders. “Due to the recent developments beyond our control, there will be a delay in delivery for recent product orders to certain locations and we are unable to fulfill the order, at present. Unfortunately, we may not be able to predict the delivery of your order, however we will ship the order as soon as possible from our end once restrictions ease,” said OnePlus.
The company also said that its service centre operations are temporarily halted in compliance with government regulations until further notice. It will resume after-sales operations as soon as possible once the situation eases.
